    Bakgrund: Kvinnlig könsstympning är en sedvänja med lång tradition i flera länder i världen. Det beräknas att runt 100-140 miljoner kvinnor har genomgått kvinnlig könsstympning idag och lever med komplikationer av könsstympning. Bland dessa lever cirka 38 000 flickor och kvinnor i Sverige. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur könsstympade kvinnor upplever bemötande av vårdpersonalen. Metod: Studien är en litteraturöversikt med systematiskt tillvägagångssätt och har använt metasyntes som analysmetod. Databaserna som användes för att hitta studiens artiklar är PubMed, CINAHL och Scop. Resultat: Upplevelsen hos de könsstympade kvinnorna indelas tre teman med nio subtema. Huvudteman: bemötande av vårdpersonalen, rädsla som är förknippad med könsstympning och kulturkompetens. Studien fann att dessa påverkar mötet mellan kvinnorna och sjukvårdspersonalen. Slutsats: I studiens resultat framkommer att könsstympade kvinnor lider av efterföljande komplikationer på grund av könsstympningen/ingreppet och att kvinnorna inte har fått förståelse av vårdpersonalen i det nya landet. Resultaten visar att det finns bristande kunskap om könsstympning hos vårdpersonal och bristande kommunikation på grund av språkliga begränsningar hos patienterna.

    This paper describes a vision-based approach to miniature robot vehicle position estimation and navigation, that integrates data from on-board camera, tachometers and steering servo. The goal is to navigate a miniature vehicle on an indoor track using visual data from lane markings and dead reckoning from odometry. Then the estimated position of the miniature vehicle will be visualized in real-time and overlayed on a photo of the actual track. This will be used to evaluate how well this estimation performs and what its limitations are.

    Groundwater is an important source of drinking water in Belgium. In some regions, locally produced groundwater is the source of 100% of the drinking water supply. One of the most important aquifers in the eastern part of Belgium is the Chalk Aquifer. This aquifer is phreatic in the northern part of Wallonia, but dips down towards the north, in Flanders, where it quickly reaches large depths. This largely confined aquifer is of strategic societal importance because it is well protected against negative influences from the surface (nitrates, pesticides) on the water quality. However, geological and hydrogeological information is scarce leading to important uncertainties regarding sustainable yields. Due to the large depth of the aquifer in its confined part, relatively little borehole information is available. Furthermore, the Chalk Aquifer is characterized by a double porosity system which results in a strong heterogeneity and spatial variability of the hydrogeological properties. The goal of the CHARM projectis to analyse the capacity of the Chalk Aquifer on a regional scale, and to deliver a management instrument that can be used for decision-making with regards to the quantitative use of this strategic aquifer for drinking water purposes. Special attention will be given to the characterization of all sources of uncertainty and its incorporation in a groundwater flow model. In a first step, the geology and hydrogeological parameters of the Chalk aquifer are characterized in detail. Based on gamma-ray logs, flow measurements, pumping tests and literature data, the horizontal and vertical variability of the hydrogeological parameters are identified. Exploitation results are linked to geological and hydrogeological data providing insights why some exploitations have a higher yield than others. Next, a regional groundwater model (MODFLOW) is set-up. The integrated Bayesian multi-model approach of Mustafa et al. (2018) is adapted, so that input, parameter and conceptual model uncertainty can be quantified. This is done by coupling the MODFLOW model with the DiffeRential Evolution Adaptive Metropolis (DREAM) algorithm (Vrugt, 2016) and by applying Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA). Based on the results of this approach, well-founded decisions can be made regarding the quantitative use of this aquifer considering all different sources of uncertainty, which is of strategic importance for long-term drinking water purposes.

    One of the basic principles of molecular biology is the use oligonucleotides with comparable melting temperatures (Tm). To accommodate various evolutionary changes in target gene sequences in order to detect numerous variants of the same gene in complex microbial communities, the researchers were forced to design degenerated oligonucleotide probes and primers. In addition, recent studies suggested that relevant parameters influencing microbial activity should be included into models currently describing the final greenhouse gas emissions for public use. Further, data on microbial community structure and abundance should be included as well in near future. As one of the most potent greenhouse gases, nitrous oxide, results mainly from incomplete denitrification process, we chose nitrous oxide reductase gene (nosZ) as a model and surveyed published literature for nosZ gene oligonucleotides. We calculated in-silico Tm for each oligonucleotide degenerated variant and compared the resulting average Tm of both oligonucleotides used in pair. Degenerated oligonucleotides were found to contain variants differing in Tm for as much as 13 °C. More than 85% of oligonucleotides had difference in average Tm of paired oligonucleotide larger than 2 °C, more than 60% larger than 4 °C and more than 40% larger than 6 °C, 25% larger than 8 °C. By using such combinations at one annealing temperature or touch-down PCR or hybridization protocol, the full use of all degenerate variants could never be achieved thus bringing under the consideration the reaction chemistry. To increase the consistency of molecular results, a simple adjustment of Tm to at least comparable average Tm is recommended. In addition, critical evaluation of other methodological pitfalls should be regular practice in order to strengthen the value of molecular results as future public models parameters. Da bi lahko z oligonukleotidi zajeli tudi evolucijske spremembe na tarčnih sekvencah istega gena znotraj kompleksnih mikrobnih združb, so se raziskovalci zatekli k uporabi degeneriranih oligonukleotidov. Nedavne študije predlagajo vključitev za mikrobe relevantnih parametrov, ki vplivajo na njihovo aktivnost, v modele, ki se trenutno uporabljajo za opis emisij toplogrednih plinov v javnosti. V bližnji prihodnosti pa se predvideva tudi vključitev podatkov o strukturi mikrobnih zdrub in velikosti njihovih populacij. Ker je eden najmočnejših toplogrednih plinov, N2O, rezultat v največji meri nepopolnega poteka denitrifikacije, sva izbrala gen za reduktazo N2O (nosZ) kot model ter iz objavljene literature sestavila nabor uporabljanih oligonukleotidnih parov. Za vsako varianto degeneriranega oligonukleotida v paru sva izračunala predvideno Tm in primerjala povprečne Tm obeh oligonukleotidov v paru. Tm variant degeneriranih oligonukleotidov so se razlikovale do 13 °C. Več kot 85 % oligonukleotidov je imelo povprečno razliko Tm para > 2 °C, več kot 60 % > 4°C in več kot 40 % oligonukleotidov je imelo Tm večjo od 6 °C. Z uporabo takih kombinacij pri eni temperaturi prileganja ali ,,PCR z zniževanjem temperature'' ali hibridizacijskih protokolih, je praktično nemogoče zagotoviti polno uporabo vseh degeneriranih variant. Našteto posledično različno vpliva na potek kemijskih reakcij prepoynave tarčnih mest. Da bi izboljšali konsistentnost molekularnih rezultatov, priporočava uskladitev povprečnih Tm para oligonukleotidov. Podobno pa je potrebno kritično oceniti druge metodološke šibke točke, da bi zagotovili uporabno vrednost rezultatov molekularnih tehnik kot bodočih parametrov v modelih.

    The political culture appears to be instrumental for understanding regime changes and consolidation processes in post-socialist countries. In a situation of rapid disintegration of most traditional Soviet values and habits, the current Russian political culture cannot but disintegrate and become contradictory. That is why the search for reliable criteria for its evaluation proves to be the cornerstone for the analysis. The author argues that public attitudes toward human rights fully reflect a complicated combination of individualistic and collectivist, self-dependent and paternalistic principles. Human rights also represent a specific arena of ethnopolitical competition. The asymmetrical and multi-ethnic Russian federation is an arena of inefficient ethnic policy and sharp inter-ethnic conflicts. Within this context, attitudes towards the political status of diaspora and ethnic minorities help distinguish between civic and hegemonist patterns of political culture. In its empirical part, the paper presents data from fifteen public opinion polls recently conducted by Russian, Western, or joint teams. The results enable the author to detect some current shifts in attitudes, to trace some long-term tendencies and to draw several general conclusions. The young generation of Russian citizens has been chosen as the subject of a case study as one of the potentially most influential social groups that could predetermine the outcome of the current ideological and political struggles. Politična kultura je pomembna za razumevanje sprememb političnih režimov in procesov konsolidacije v postsocialističnih družbah. V času hitre dezintgracije večine tradicionalnih sovjetskih vrednot in običajev se lahko tudi politična kultura samo razkraja in postaja protislovna. Zaradi tega je iskanje zanesljivih kriterijev ocenjevanja politične kulture temelj analize. Avtor razkriva, da javna stališča o človekovih pravicah v celoti odražajo zapleteno kombinacijo individualističnih in kolektivističnih, samozadostnih inpaternalističnih načel. Človekove pravice predstavljajo tudi posebno področje etnopolitične konkurence. Asimetrična večnacionalna Ruska federacija je prostor neučinkovite etnične politike in zaostrenih medetničnih konfliktov. V tem okviru igrajo stališča o političnem položaju diaspore in etničnih manjšin pomembno vlogo pri razlikovanju med civilnimi in hegemonističnimi vzorci politične kulture. V empiričnem delu članek prinaša podatke iz petnajst javnomnenjskih glasovanj, ki so jih v zadnjem času izvedle ruske, zahodne ali mešane raziskovalne skupine. Rezultati omogočajo avtorju določiti kratkoročne spremembe in dolgoročne razvojne tendence ter izpeljati nekaj splošnih zaključkov. Raziskovanje je bilo usmerjeno na mlado generacijo ruskih državljanov kot potencialno najvplivnejšo družbeno skupino, ki bo določala rezultate sedanjih ideoloških in političnih bojev.

    Syfte: Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka och beskriva om det finns några skillnader och/eller likheter i hur svenska storbanker respektive övriga banker arbetar strategiskt för att få nya bolånekunder samt behålla befintliga. Metod: Sex stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med tre storbanker respektive tre övriga banker har utförts. Vi har bandat intervjuerna för att sedan sammanfatta dem och skicka tillbaka dem till respondenterna för godkännande. Urvalet av banker gjordes genom att kontakta de fyra största bankerna i Sverige där tre valde att delta. Övriga banker valdes ut subjektivt. Resultatet tolkades sedan genom att koppla ihop vår insamlade empiri med lämpliga teorier. Resultat och slutsats: Resultaten från undersökningen visade att det inte fanns några större skillnader mellan hur storbankerna och de övriga bankerna strategiskt arbetar för att behålla samt få nya bolånekunder. Det finns bland annat antydningar i resultatet om att det finns skillnader i sättet att arbeta med missnöjda kunder men vi anser inte att detta är tillräckligt för att dra slutsatsen om att storleken på banken är avgörande. Förslag till fortsatt forskning: Vi har valt att endast undersöka skillnader och likheter mellan storbanker och övriga banker vad gäller delmarknaden bolån. För att få en bättre och mer heltäckande bild av eventuella likheter och skillnader mellan dessa banker ger vi förslaget att göra en liknande undersökning av andra delmarknader som svenska banker agerar på.

    Beviskravet anger vilken styrka bevisningen behöver uppnå för att domstolen ska anse att ett förhållande är för handen. Beviskravet avgör huruvida domstolen kan bifalla eller avslå klagandes talan. I tvistemål tillämpas som huvudregel beviskravet ”styrkt”. I brottmål tillämpas som huvudregel beviskravet ”ställt utom rimligt tvivel”. I förvaltningsmål generellt är det däremot oklart vilket eller vilka beviskrav som ska tillämpas. Även för mål enligt 3 § LVU är det oklart vilket eller vilka beviskrav som ska tillämpas. Samtidigt finns en mängd olika uttryck som kan kopplas till beviskrav. Nuvarande oklara rättsläge om vilket beviskrav som ska tillämpas för mål enligt 3 § LVU medför ett stort utrymme för domarna att bestämma beviskravet i ett enskilt fall. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur rättssäkerhetsfaktorerna förutsebarhet, likabehandling och likvärdig behandling påverkas av rättsläget angående beviskrav enligt 3 § LVU utifrån en analys angående gällande rätt och rättstillämpningen i underrätter baserat på̊ hur domar motiveras. Syftet innefattar också̊ en diskussion om tänkbara lösningar på eventuell rättssäkerhetsproblematik. I uppsatsen diskuteras inledningsvis rättsläget avseende beviskrav i mål om beredande av tvångsvård enligt 3 § LVU. Rättsläget klargörs genom en analys utifrån dels rättskällorna och dels förvaltningsrätters domskäl. Det redogörs sedan för rättslägets effekter på de tre rättssäkerhetsfaktorerna. Slutligen diskuteras om rättsläget bör förändras utifrån eventuell rättssäkerhetsproblematik. Då görs en avvägning mellan rättssäkerhetsproblemen och skäl till att rättsläget ska förbli oförändrat. Eftersom förändringar bör göras så diskuteras tänkbara lösningar på rättssäkerhetsproblematiken. Såväl fördelar som nackdelar med lösningarna lyfts. Sedan bedöms vilken lösning som är lämpligast för att lösa rättssäkerhetsproblematiken.
